1. Excellence in 4R by Industry (Manage Own Waste) (Large companies and MSMEs who are managing waste generated in from their own activities or operation or within premises)
2. Excellence in managing municipal solid waste (MSW) by private firms (Large, Medium, small companies along with start-ups who are providing services in managing municipal solid waste collection & transportation, processing/ recovery and scientific disposal including landfill management.)


3. Excellence in developing the zero/minimum waste products (Large, Medium, small companies along with start-ups who are producing products which generate minimum/zero waste or lead to no waste)


4. Excellence in Best Practices in managing Plastics and Packaging or E-waste under EPR (Industry including large, MSMEs, start-ups and waste management companies including PIBOs, PROs, recyclers who are managing the plastic & packaging or e-waste)


5. Excellence in Innovation Solutions / technology by Research Institutes for Sustainable Waste Management (start-ups which are offering innovative solutions for sustainable waste management.)


6. Excellence in Innovative Solutions for waste management by Academic institutes & Research Labs (Research labs & academic institutions which are offering innovative solutions / technologies for sustainable waste management.)
